- Social media management platform Hootsuite has closed its Singapore operations and moved its Asia-Pacific headquarters to Sydney, Australia, according to Mumbrella Asia.
- The Vancouver-based company did not specify the number of employees who would be affected by the decision or if any of them would be relocated. It also didn’t give details about its head of Asia, Roger Graham, who took over the role last July.
- Hootsuite has reportedly been looking to sell itself since late last year, but it abandoned the process because the bids were lower than expected, Canada’s The Globe and Mail reported in January.
- The firm has been cutting jobs worldwide and has laid off more than 100 people.
