TheAsianparent appoints ex-Johnson & Johnson director as chief commercial officer

TheAsianparent, a pregnancy and babycare-focused communication platform for new parents, has appointed former Johnson & Johnson executive Akshay Trivedi as its new chief commercial officer.

Experience:

  • Trivedi has previously served as director of digital, media, and content for Johnson & Johnson’s Asia-Pacific operations. He has also previously worked as a director at Edelman Digital.
  • The newly appointed executive also handled sales, social media, and marketing, among other things at Standard Chartered for over nine years.

More details:

  • In his new role, Trivedi will look to boost theAsianparent’s market share and revenue via online and offline opportunities. he will also be in charge of introducing new products and services that can cater to the parent community in Southeast Asia.
  • Earlier this year, startup launched its VIP Parents platform to enable brands to engage directly with its “most vocal and influential” members.
