ALERT! Youkai Watch event: youkai spotted at Japan’s Tokyo Station
The ever popular 3DS game, Youkai Watch, is hosting a major event at Tokyo Station Ichiban Machi. For the next couple months, fans can take their 3DS to the newly set up Youkai Town and take part in different games, lotteries, and Youkai Roulette Battle, where they can win different prizes.
Never heard of Youkai Watch you say? Well, that’s not terribly surprising, seeing how it has yet to leave Japan. This JRPG was released last July for the 3DS and has been an incredible hit. In fact, Youkai Watch has been on Japan’s top ten best selling games list for the past several months. In the game, a young boy by the name of Keita happens to meet a nice ghost named Whisper. Whisper gives Keita a special watch that allows him to identify and capture different ghosts that are currently haunting his town.

Youkai Watch is very cute and almost Pokemon-like in design. The game is in the process of being localized, but unfortunately does not have a release date.
If you are looking to take part in this event you have until May 5, 2014, to make it to Tokyo Station. And while in Tokyo you may as well stop in at a 7-Eleven and get yourself some Phantasy Star Online 2 DLC.
