Let's play DayZ alpha: finally some sunlight edition (VIDEO)

Earlier today, I gave you my first impressions of the DayZ standalone alpha, but because of an issue with the in-game clocks, all of the video and screenshots I was able to take were from night time in the game. And let’s face it, this game doesn’t look that great at night. So here’s another video, a shorter one, to show you what the game looks like during the day.

I didn’t bother with much narration in this video, so if you’re looking for the details — or an answer to the question “Should I buy this?” — then definitely check out my first impressions post because that’s where you’ll find all of that information.

Not a big fan of video? Feast your eyes on these not-so-dark-you-can’t-see-anything screenshots!

(By the way, it’s not mandatory that your character look as stupid as mine does. I found this motorcycle helmet and purple backpack early on, so I figured I might as well use them. But I’ll admit it’s not the most, uh, sane looking loadout ever. Don’t worry, you can and will look way cooler than this.)
