People still don’t get why I work for a startup. This is what I tell them.

The Talk

Most of us would go through this as founders and even employees of startups. I’m pretty sure you would have too.

While we are the dreamers building something, or rather striving towards the mission of making something people want, the world moves at their own pace and questions the industry that rebels against the norm.

It won’t be long before a family member, a friend, or partner sits you down, and starts “the talk”.

“Are you sure this is what you want to do?”

“What’s your career progression in this industry?”

“Seems a little too risky to be making this decision”
