Hello reader,
Numbers have never been my strong suit. I often need help from math-savvy people (mostly my wife) to get my finances in check.
She’s highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, and her interest in the program has deepened since she watched clips from the last Microsoft Excel World Championship, an esport tournament centered around the ubiquitous tool.
But even the best need help sometimes, and this is where companies like Finmo step in.
Headquartered in Singapore, Finmo helps CFOs do their tasks better. It offers a single platform for money movement, payments, cash management, and foreign exchange management.
The startup is proving pretty adept at handling its own finances. After hitting profitability last year, the company now plans to grow its revenue and client base by 3x to 5x by the end of 2025.
To make this happen, Finmo is currently eyeing expansion into markets like Hong Kong, Dubai, and Poland – all while investing more into its tech.
The firm aims to stay profitable even as it pursues this endeavor. It will certainly need all the support in managing finances.
