KKR eyes $4b tech fund, tokenization on SG investment platform

Global investment firm KKR is looking to raise US$4 billion for its third tech fund, Next Generation Technology Growth Fund III, and is aiming to raise a part of it by tokenizing a portion of the fund on ADDX, a Singapore-based private market platform, reported The Business Times.

Through ADDX, investors can access the KKR fund with at least US$20,000.

KKR is present in 21 countries, managing US$471 billion worth of assets.

The VC firm’s second tech fund closed with US$2.2 billion while its Asia Pacific-focused fund got US$15 billion. It recently led Philippines-based ecommerce platform GrowSari’s US$77.5 million round and Singapore-based property unicorn Livspace’s US$180 million fundraise.
