Taiwan-based startup Codementor is a market place where programmers pay gurus for advice on their coding conundrums. The startup launched CodementorX to allow startups to get expert input on building apps and services from the kind of people that they simply couldn’t afford to hire full-time.

2. Fitpass | India (Startup Profile)

Delhi-based Fitpass offers access to various gyms and health clubs via a membership. It allows members a chance to break from expensive yearly gym memberships. Once you buy a Fitpass for US$15, you can pick from a roster of over 1,000 partner gyms and health clubs and attend whatever classes you wish.

3. iCommerce Asia | Singapore

iCommerce Asia provides a full range of services relevant to ecommerce. It handles operations like warehouse and order management, cross-border customs clearance, and reverse logistics, as well as tech services like web and mobile development, hosting, SEO, and social media management.

4. Market Kurly | South Korea (Startup Profile)

South Korea’s Market Kurly aims to get people into the habit of getting their groceries online. The startup promises all goods ordered before 11pm will arrive by 7am next day. With that, it’s grown to 150,000 registered members, each spending about US$50 a pop, in just 18 months.

5. Pocket Aces | India (Startup Profile)

Mumbai-based Pocket Aces is a digital entertainment company. It conceptualizes, creates, and distributes original content targeted at millennials, through its three channels: Dice Media, which works with sketches and web series, FilterCopy, which handles short-form content, and Gobble, which works for food-related clients.
