SEO Outreach Specialist  About the Role

We're hiring an experienced Outreach Specialist to grow our website's authority and visibility by building genuine relationships with other websites, blogs, and online publications. You'll be the face of our brand to external site owners, editors, and bloggers - securing guest posting opportunities, niche edits, and directory placements that support our SEO and content marketing goals. This role requires excellent written English, as you'll be communicating primarily with English-speaking publishers and site owners.

What You'll Do

• Identify and prospect relevant websites, blogs, and publications in our niche for link-building and partnership opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with website owners, editors, and content managers through personalized outreach (email, social, forums, etc.)
• Pitch and secure guest post placements, including topic ideation and coordination with internal writers or writing posts yourself
• Source and negotiate niche edits (contextual link insertions into existing published content)
• Research, create, and optimize profiles on relevant business directories, forums, and citation sites
• Track outreach campaigns, response rates, and placements using a CRM or spreadsheet system
• Vet prospective sites for quality, relevance, and domain authority to avoid spammy or low-value placements
• Negotiate terms (cost, timelines, content requirements) with website partners
• Stay current on link-building best practices, Google's guidelines, and evolving SEO/outreach trends
• Collaborate with the content and SEO teams to align outreach targets with broader campaign goals
• Report regularly on outreach volume, placements secured, and link quality metrics

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2–3 years of proven, hands-on experience in link building, digital PR, SEO outreach, or a closely related field — this is not an entry-level role
• Fluent/near-native written English — you must be able to write persuasive, natural-sounding cold pitches and follow-ups that get replies from native English-speaking editors and site owners
• A demonstrable track record of secured placements (references or a portfolio of past outreach work/placements preferred)
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (domain authority, backlink profiles, anchor text, link risk, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with outreach and SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Hunter.io, Pitchbox, BuzzStream, or similar)
• Highly organized with the ability to manage dozens of ongoing conversations and campaigns simultaneously
• Comfortable with cold outreach and persistent follow-up without being pushy
• Solid judgment on what makes a link/placement "safe" vs. spammy or penalty-risk
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently across time zones if working with international teams

• Existing network of website/blog relationships in English-speaking markets
• Content writing or editing skills
• Experience with CRM or outreach automation tools
• Additional language skills
