Sr QA Engineer (Banking - Fluent English)

Job Responsibilities: * Perform end-to-end SDLC testing lifecycle, including test preparation, test execution, defect management, retesting, and UAT support. * Design, create, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios and test cases based on project requirements. * Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality. * Validate technical components, including API integration, middleware integration, file transfers (SFTP), and data mapping. * Conduct database/SQL testing and perform file format validations (XML, JSON, CSV). * Perform batch/scheduler, reconciliation, and error handling/retry mechanism testing. * Track, log, and manage defects using standard issue-tracking tools, collaborating closely with development teams for resolution.

Qualifications & Requirements: * Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a QA Engineer, Test Analyst, System Tester, or SIT Tester. * Strong expertise in SIT & UAT execution, test scenario/case creation, and defect management. * Proficient in SQL and database testing. * Hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI. * Experienced in Integration Testing and File Testing (XML, JSON, CSV). * Solid understanding of End-to-End testing methodologies.

* **Technical Scope Capabilities:** * Familiarity with Middleware Integration, SFTP file transfer, and Data Mapping validation. * Experience in Reconciliation Testing, Batch/Scheduler testing, and Error Handling/Retry Mechanism validation.
