In brief: JD’s logistics arm raises $218m fund to back logistics-focused companies
- The logistics division of Chinese ecommerce giant JD.com has raised a roughly US$218 million fund to invest in companies and technologies specializing in logistics, Reuters reported.
- The fund will stand alongside JD’s own investment team, which makes deals in a variety of sectors.
- The company’s limited partners will include JD Logistics and the mother JD company, as well as “several listed companies and government-led funds,” the company said.
