With the funding, the two companies plan to search for promising technology firms in the Southeast Asian market, mainly in Indonesia. The partnership also aims to further accelerate digital transformation in the region.

The deal gives NS Solutions’ Japanese customers access to the tech offerings of startups under Alpha JWC’s portfolio. At the same time, the Tokyo-based company will share its technology and know-how with the VC firm’s startups.

Alpha JWC manages two funds of US$50 million and US$100 million. It has 28 active portfolio companies in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
