Apple‘s new iPod Nano isn’t just small, light and stylish. It also has multi-touch functions. Inspired, Minimal’s engineers and designers thought that the iPod Nano would make a good multi-purpose watch. The team placed the idea on Kickstarter with an aim to raise $15,000.
To the team’s astonishment, the project has received over $600,000 in funding with 10 more days to go. That was also the first project on Kickstarter to top $500,000 in funding.
“It just seems to keep on going,” Mr. Wilson said, referring to the number of pledges received since the project idea was posted online two weeks ago. “I had expectations that we would get $15,000 in funding from Kickstarter, but by the second day of sales we had quickly passed that.”

The iPod Nano watch idea has two parts. TikTok as seen above, allows user to securely snap the Nano into the wrist dock. Users can conveniently remove the Nanos as and when they like it.

The LunaTik, a more expensive design, is meant to be more permanent. It is made of aluminum and holds the Nano in place with screws.
This isn’t the first time that an Apple device has been inventively transformed to another product. Apple Peel, a device that embodies the iPod Touches could turn the devices into iPhones.
