iPad 2 Available in Hong Kong, Korea and Singapore in April

Update: “We have not announced dates yet or availability for India,” said an Apple spokesperson.

Update 2: Japan launch delayed.

It’s coming: The iPad 2 will be available to 25 countries including Japan, Australia and New Zealand tomorrow, 25 March Friday. Consumers can purchase the gadget at selected Apple Authorized Resellers at 5pm local time and via Apple online store beginning at 1 am.

Apple also announced in a statement that the iPad 2 will be available in Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and additional countries in April. No exact dates were given.

“We’re experiencing amazing demand for iPad 2 in the US, and customers around the world have told us they can’t wait to get their hands on it. We appreciate everyone’s patience and we are working hard to build enough iPads for everyone,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO.

Apple’s third announcement of iPad 2 launch doesn’t seem to include India. The country has so far been deemed as the “dumping ground” of outdated Apple products. The first generation of iPad was only launched late January this year and sales isn’t looking great for Apple India. We have sent an email to Apple to learn when the iPad 2 will be launched in India.
