More company updates

  • Atlan also plans to use the new capital to invest “heavily” into growing its product and engineering team in India, co-founder Varun Banka said in a statement. The company aims to double its team strength within the year.
  • The investment comes after Atlan reported a 16x growth in users within the last six months.
  • Since launching in 2019, the startup has signed up enterprises such as Unilever and startups like Postman and Delhivery as clients.
  • Atlan offers a data collaboration workspace such as Github for engineering or Figma for design. It enables teams to create a single source for all their data assets and collaborate across the modern data stack through integrations with tools like Slack, Snowflake, Redshift, Looker, Sisense, and Tableau.
  • In April 2020, Atlan took part in the third cohort of Surge, an accelerator program backed by Sequoia Capital that focuses on Southeast Asia and India.
