The vSuch iPhone app is a fashion microblog that combines fashion with social networking to create a perfect interaction between people and fashion brands even when on the go. vSuch is the first in China to introduce the concept of fashion microblogging into the country, according to iResearch.
The website, vSuch.com, was founded on February 11, 2007. After three years, vSuch.com states that it is the only fashion SNS in China that has attracted various celebrities to create their “personal areas” on the site. The new microblog app would make it even easier for celebrities to engage with fans.
The vSuch app [iTunes link] consists of several useful functions for fashion enthusiasts. Through the app, users can learn about the most recent developments of famous fashion brands such as Coach, G-Star and Guess. Users can also share photos and thoughts on fashion while on the go.
The launch of vSuch’s fashion microblog has caused a sensation in China’s fashion industry as a large number of fashion celebrities flocked to use it.
Song Bo, a famous photographer, after using vSuch microblog said that fashion microblogging has closed the gap between art and the masses. He can now share his art experience with fashion lovers in real-time.
Zhou Long Sheng, the brand director at ME&CITY, said that vSuch fashion microblog could help brands to find target consumer groups more quickly and accurately. It also enables consumers to learn about product news in real-time.
“Fashion Star” Yu Xia who is a loyal user said that with fashion microblog, she is now able to upload her photo and effectively interact with her fans, and learn about product news at any time and location.
vSuch isn’t the first in the world to come up with fashion microblogging. A TechCrunch report back in January 2009 introduced TryMyFashion as the first fashion microblog tool. However, the site TryMyFashion.com is no longer accessible.
