As Indonesia’s startup ecosystem matures, the venture capital industry faces a defining moment. Beyond valuations and their ability to back successful startups, investors are increasingly measured by their ability to uphold trust, accountability, and integrity – the very principles that sustain long-term growth.
In response to this shift, Tech in Asia and Komdigi are co-hosting an invite-only luncheon at the Tech in Asia Conference 2025, bringing together Indonesia’s leading VCs, regulators, and industry associations for a focused discussion on the future of governance and accountability in venture investing.

The closed-door session will take place on October 22 at 12:00 pm at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta and will be conducted in Bahasa Indonesia. It aims to build stronger alignment between the private and public sectors, exploring how Indonesia’s venture community can strengthen governance frameworks, encourage ethical practices, and set a higher standard for transparency in a competitive investment environment.

Unlike a public panel, this luncheon is a collaborative working session where Indonesia’s venture leaders can exchange insights, challenge assumptions, and collectively shape the next chapter of the country’s VC ecosystem. This will bridge policy and practice, laying the foundation for a more accountable and credible venture landscape in Indonesia.
