Startup in Yogyakarta, New Delhi or Manila? Get ready for the Tech in Asia Tour

29/09: We regret to inform that the New Delhi tour has been cancelled.
UPDATE: Deadline to sign up for the tour has been extended to September 29. Apply today before it’s too late!
What do Yogyakarta, New Delhi, and Manila have in common? The Tech in Asia tour.
For the first time, we will be landing in these three cities as part of our regional search for the top startups to send to Tech in Asia Jakarta this November – the perfect opportunity for those looking to take your company to the next level.
Here’s how pitching at the tour can give you the extra edge you need:
1. A peek inside investors’ minds
If you plan to get investors pouring money into your startup soon, you might first want to know how they feel about your business idea. In each leg of the tour, we will have renowned investors joining us as judges to share their inputs on your pitch. Their feedback could be the piece that’s missing from your puzzle.
2. Iron sharpens iron
You get better by pitting your wits against the best – and that’s exactly what happens at the tour. Go up against the best startups from each city and you’ll find that you have to talk better, think faster, and react quicker. You’ll come out of the tour much more prepared to take on competition for sure.
3. Substance and style
You might be able to rattle your pitch off the back of your hand, but sometimes, it’s what you’re not saying that people pay attention to.
As one of the handpicked startups pitching in each city, you’ll get personalized one-on-one training and tips from the Tech in Asia team on how to improve your presentation style – advice you will find useful even outside of this competition.
4. It’s free
Opportunity costs are often an important factor for any startup, given the limited resources. You’ll be glad to know that there’s close to none here. The experience, the advice, the networking opportunities and the exposure – all of it is free.
On top of it all, the winner from each leg gets a pass to Tech in Asia Jakarta and a much-coveted booth at Bootstrap Alley. There you’ll have the opportunity to share with thousands of other people what you are passionate about – at no extra cost to you.
