Unicorn AppsFlyer bags investment from Salesforce Ventures in extension of series D round

In January, the company had raised US$210 million in a series D round led by General Atlantic and was valued at US$1.6 billion.

Since then, AppsFlyer claims that it has seen “tremendous growth,” having exceeded US$200 million in annual recurring revenue. It now employs 1,000 people globally – a number it plans to increase in 2021.

Demand for its products has also risen, including holistic attribution, marketing analytics, fraud protection, incrementality measurement, and customer experience and engagement tools.

Meanwhile, the company also announced the launch of its new office in Sydney, which would serve to cater to its customers and grow its business across Australia and New Zealand. With the latest launch, it now has 19 international offices.

“This round enables us to empower Asian marketers with the tools needed to catapult their success and make accurate, better informed, and strategic decisions, as well as help drive innovation and foster confidence across the regional economy,” said Ronen Mense, Asia-Pacific president and managing director at AppsFlyer.

So far, the customers of the US-based firm include Nike, Tencent, US Bank, and Wayfair, while its partners – which number 8,000 worldwide – include Facebook, Google, Twitter, TikTok, and Adobe.

According to AppsFlyer, it has secured more than US$300 million in funding since 2011 from investors like Goldman Sachs Growth Equity, Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners, Qumra Capital, Pitango Venture Capital, Magma Venture Partners, and Eight Roads Ventures.
