Say hi to Jublia, the must-have life hack for #StartupAsia Jakarta

jublia0

Let’s be honest. Sometimes, tech conferences are more about the people in the audience than the ones spouting wisdom and power points on the stage. Speakers, as much as we love them, want to meet them, and want to impress them, make up just a small fraction of the attendees. We also already know everything about them. Do you know what the guy next to you can do? What about the woman in front of you? Probably not. But Jublia does.

Jublia is an event-based networking tool that Tech in Asia is delighted to provide to all attendees of Startup Asia Jakarta. Everyone is automatically registered and you will get an email from our team inviting you to sign in. Once inside the web app, you can make a simple profile (company, title, area of interest), and start meeting your fellow attendees.

If someone’s profile strikes your fancy, you can send them a handshake. If they are interested in meeting, they can accept the handshake. Jublia will then send an email addressed to both individuals and the two can continue their correspondence via email.

If you carve out a little time to prepare to send out some handshakes, you will instantly optimize the time you spend in Jakarta. Rather than leave it to chance that you will just happen to meet the right business contacts, take control of your conference experience with Jublia.

We first offered Jublia at Startup Asia Tokyo and it got rave reviews. We listened and are excited for guests at Startup Asia Jakarta to enjoy the experience.

Even if you are not able to meet everyone you exchange handshakes with, there is nothing to worry about. You will still be able to stay in touch via email and follow-up after the festivities are over. Also, you can still send handshakes after the conference has ended. We will leave access open for about one week so you can squeeze in any networking you may have missed.

The best business opportunities are those that take advantage of a previously unknown or under-utilized resource. With Jublia, you can discover a world of otherwise hidden value.

Startup Asia Jakarta is still a few weeks away but we hope you enjoy mingling a little early. Don’t forget to shake hands with the conference’s content curator!
