Details:
- Japanese investment giant SoftBank was joined by existing backers Norwest Venture Partners and Qualcomm Ventures.
- The round more than doubled Mindtickle’s valuation and brought the total capital the firm has raised so far to US$281 million.
Dive deeper:
- Mindtickle, which has offices in India and the US, offers “sales readiness” technology that features AI-based sales tools to improve a seller’s knowledge of customers by analyzing sales behaviors.
- Mindtickle is the latest Indian startup to join the unicorn club this month just behind Ofbusiness and BharatPe. India’s tech industry is having a “boom year,” with an increase in stock market debuts and venture capital investments, noted the Mint report.
