Hello reader,
As someone that loves watching competitions, close matches are always entertaining. You get nail-biting finishes, close shaves, and other exciting things happening.
However, once in a while, you get to witness something so clinical, so exceptionally well done that you can’t help but admire it. Think of Germany beating Brazil 7-1 at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, or Roger Federer winning multiple US Opens not just once or twice, but several times in a row.
This week, that shining star is India’s tech scene. Out of our five biggest investments this week, four of them were scored by Indian startups, with Reliance Retail leading the way. Similarly, four out of the six M&As this week involved Indian firms.
