  • Other investors: Snow Leopard Ventures, Lightspeed Partners, Matrix Partners India, HOF Capital, Old Well Ventures, LetsVenture, 9Unicorns, and individual investors like Oyo CEO Ritesh Agarwal and Nothing co-founder Carl Pei.

  • Funds used for: Operational activities and expanding partnerships to increase Dukaan’s merchant base.
  • About the startup: Founded in 2020, the startup is a no-code platform that aims to make it easier for anyone to start an ecommerce website and scale it. The startup said it has facilitated more than 1.5 million in transactions to date.

Info Edge Ventures leads Geniemode’s $2.25m seed round

  • Other investors: Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, Cred founder Kunal Shah, and others
  • Stage: Seed
  • About the startup: Geniemode is a business-to-business, cross-border sourcing and supply chain firm. The startup said its platform has seen “impressive” adoption from buyers across Mexico, India, the US, and the UK within five months of its launch.

Healthtech firm Biddano bags US$2 million

  • Lead investor: Pinterest and Coinbase board member Gokul Rajaram
  • Returning investors: JPIN, Venture Catalysts UK
  • New investors: Venture Catalysts and AngelList

  • Funds used for: Improving Biddano’s supply chain platform and customer experience, develop new products, and hire more talent across verticals
  • About the startup: Founded in 2016, the startup provides a simplified order management platform for chemists and hospitals. It serves more than 20,000 pharmacies in India and aims to increase this number to 100,000 in the next 12 months.

Deeptech SaaS startup NeuroPixel.AI lands US$825k in seed funding

  • Lead investor: Inflection Point Ventures
  • Other investors: Entrepreneur First, Huddle, Dexter Angels, and Rishaad Currimjee, CEO of Currimjee Jeewanjee
  • Stage: Seed
  • Funds used for: Scaling up research and development to bring its product to production from beta
  • About the startup: The one-year-old startup NeuroPixel leverages AI to help online fashion stores with services such as virtual try-ons. The company said its solution can help businesses reduce cataloging spend by 30%.

Edtech firm Vidyakul raises US$500k in bridge round

  • Lead investor: We Founder Circle
  • Other investors: JITO Angel Network and Thinkuvate
  • Stage: Bridge
  • Funds used for: Team expansion and platform development
  • About the startup: Founded in 2018, Vidyakul is an edtech platform that offers lessons in vernacular languages. The platform currently supports four languages. So far, it has onboarded 1 million students across 10 states in India.
