Eduardo Saverin’s B Capital co-leads $6m round of Singapore B2B sales platform

Nektar.ai, a business-to-business sales productivity startup based in Singapore, raised an additional US$6 million seed round of funding.

  • Nektar.ai intends to use the funding to accelerate product development and hire talent for its core team across product, engineering, and go-to-market functions.
  • The latest round of funding takes the total seed amount raised by the startup to US$8.1 million.
  • In November 2020, it raised US$2.1 million in a seed round led by Nexus Venture Partners.
  • Nektar.ai compares its AI-powered guided selling solution to customer relationship management systems like Salesforce.
  • “Nektar.ai’s solutions provide great value to distributed revenue teams, which is even more important as enterprises conduct further business across global markets,” said Gabe Greenbaum, general partner of B Capital Group, Facbook co-founder Eduardo Saverin’s investment firm.
  • Currently, the startup has employees across five countries including Singapore, India, Australia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. It says that 50% of its workforce are women.
