In brief: India interior design startup gets $4.6m from JSW Ventures, Sequoia India, Accel Partners
- Homelane, a Bangalore-based home interior design platform, has raised 330 million rupees (US$4.6 million) series D funding from JSW Ventures and existing investors Sequoia India and Accel Partners.
- The startup will use the funds to double its offline experience centers across India, as well as improve its platform and branding.
- Founded in 2014, Homelane previously raised a total of US$69 million in several fundraising rounds, including US$4.5 million series A and US$50 million series B from Sequoia India in 2015, US$10 million series C from Accel Partners, Sequoia India, and RB Investments in 2017, and US$3.5 million ad-for-equity investment from Brand Capital in 2018.
