Foodpanda to get access to e-scooters for deliveries with Beam tie-up

Beam, a Singapore-based e-scooter-sharing startup, is partnering with food-delivery service Foodpanda to offer more delivery transportation options to its riders.

Beam will provide Foodpanda with 20 e-scooters during a three-month pilot program.

Throughout the trial phase, Foodpanda’s riders will use an exclusive code to unlock and ride Beam e-scooters. They will also have the unique ability to lock an e-scooter via a button while collecting customer orders.

Foodpanda will charge and house the e-scooters at a central location, while Beam will regularly monitor and maintain the quality and rideability of the e-scooters.
