Wahyoo, an Indonesia-based F&B digitalization firm, has secured US$6.5 million as part of its series B funding round, according to data from VentureCap Insights.
The investors participating in the round include NH Absolute Return Partners, Intudo Ventures, Evowood, Nitto Prima Ventura, Global Brain, East Ventures, and Indogen Capital.
The funding round also brought Wahyoo’s post-money valuation to US$38.9 million, with its share price almost doubling compared to the previous year, according to VentureCap Insights.
Tech in Asia has reached out to Wahyoo for comments on the matter.
Founded in 2017 by Peter Shearer, Wahyoo provides digitalization services for MSMEs in the food and beverage sector. The firm’s services, which include access to networks for fulfillment and sales, are used by over 27,000 businesses.
The startup also set up the Bikin Tajir Group, a MSME-friendly cloud kitchen initiative that provides franchising rights for several food brands.
In August 2020, Wahyoo raised US$5 million in a series A funding round led by Intudo Ventures.
