In brief: Homegrown player leads Malaysia’s video streaming space, study finds
- Astro Go, which is owned by Malaysian satellite pay TV and IPTV service provider Astro, came in as the most popular paid video streaming service in the country, according to a study by The Financial Times.
- The service beat out international services such as Netflix, which came in second, and Google Play, which was ranked third.
- Other local players Unifi TV and iFlix also breached top positions, ranking fourth and fifth respectively.
