The startup offers a workflow tool aimed at helping sales professionals and small businesses reach clients through personalized interactions on mobile messaging apps.
More than 45,000 individual sales professionals in over 75 countries use Privyr to send content and track the interest of their clients. Its tool currently supports integration with WhatsApp, SMS, and email. The company’s users are mostly individual salespeople or MSMEs across various industries.
“There’s incredible demand for simple, mobile-based solutions targeted at individuals and SMEs – particularly in developing markets where sales primarily happen on mobile and WhatsApp,” said MassMutual Ventures managing director Anvesh Ramineni.
The new funding will be used to improve the company’s products, increase market penetration, and grow its team from fewer than 10 people to 40 members.
