Here’s how to get real-time updates on Tech in Asia Singapore 2016

It’s the moment we have been waiting for: doors to Tech in Asia Singapore 2016 finally open tomorrow. With so many incredible speakers, and conference segments happening simultaneously, how can you keep abreast of all the exciting sessions?
Fret not. Whether you’ve already bought your passes and are good to go, or catching it from behind your laptop screen, we’ve rounded up four simple ways to help you stay on top of the conference as it happens.
1. Social media
We’ve got eyes everywhere. You’ll find updates from the Tech in Asia team on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (@TechinAsia), and Snapchat (@TechinAsia) with coverage on all six stages, Bootstrap Alley booths, and more.
Now, you can find what other people are saying on social media as well by following the official hashtag, #tiasg2016. Using it will get your posts up on our social media wall as well – go crazy with it!
2. Have your say at Arena
Arena gets more exciting this year. For the first time, we’re inviting all conference attendees to weigh in on the 7 startups battling it out on the main stage this year.
One startup will be crowned the champion of Arena at Tech in Asia Singapore 2016. And one lucky winner will be picked from participating voters of the Arena battle to walk away with an Apple watch. All you have to do is vote for one of the contenders by using their respective hashtags, together with the hashtag #tiasg2016!
Hashtag to use for each Arena finalist:
#TIABitMex #TIADocquity #TIAGliaCloud #TIAKeukey #TIAMerlin #TIAPouch #TIAZWorks

3. Live coverage from our writers
If you want the essence of the stage content, keep the Tech in Asia website open on your browser. The editorial team will be crystallizing the best of them for you across both days, including some behind-the-scenes interviews.
Profiles on the finalists for Arena are already up and running – check them out to help you determine who you’ll want to root for!
4. Plug in with the TIA SG 2016 conference app
Downloaded the official conference app yet? This handy guide (available in both iOS and Android) will be your best friend when you’re navigating sprawling conference grounds the next two days, with all the information you need in it.
It’s not just a repository of key information. It’s also a terrific way to get noticed, and warm up before the real networking begins. Already, there’s plenty of buzz with people doing shoutouts on their Bootstrap Alley booths, calling for a gathering of like-minded people, or asking questions. You can browse through the attending delegates and initiate private conversations as well, to schedule for a place to meet on the actual days.

If you haven’t joined the party yet, it’s time to get started. Don’t be shy – we’re a friendly bunch!
