Malaysia’s ecommerce market has been quickly gaining ground. From a gross merchandise value of just US$3 billion in 2019, the sector is now expected to log US$18 billion by 2025, according to a 2022 report by Bain, Google, and Temasek.
For entrepreneurs, reselling and dropshipping let them tap into this growth without high entry costs. Ejen2u is one startup helping businesses thrive in this space.
The company offers an online platform, EjenGo, where businesses can better keep track of their resellers. Ejen2u also runs WeMap, a program dedicated to upskilling women entrepreneurs. Sheikh Ezaiddin, Ejen2u’s founder and CEO, said that women currently represent about 85% of the firm’s total users.
Fresh off a pre-series A funding round led by Gobi Partners, Ejen2u looks to expand its suite of products to cover more segments in the direct-to-consumer industry.
