Japan PM Starts English Twitter Account to Update Post-Earthquake Situation

“This is the official English twitter account of Prime Minister’s Office of Japan. Most of the information provided here will be translation of @ Kantei_Saigai.”

For seamless communication, the Japan Prime Minister’s Office has launched an English Twitter account to update the world about the situation in Japan after the disastrous earthquake on March 11. Our friends from Asiajin kindly explained that ‘Kantei’ means Prime Minister’s Office while ‘Saigai’ means disaster.
