RenewBuy acquires AI firm
RenewBuy bought fellow insurtech player Artivatic.AI, taking over the latter’s software-as-a-service solutions for insurance, IP, and product portfolios.
The AI-powered firm also has at least six fintech patents that will boost RenewBuy’s policy delivery and servicing.
RenewBuy says it has insured over 3 million customers across 750 towns and cities in the country.
Great Learning acquires recruitment platform
Edtech firm Great Learning took over recruitment platform Superset, whose campus placements and corporate recruitment services complement the latter’s professional learning offerings.
The move is aimed at bridging the “skill gap” in India as recent trainees can be connected directly to job opportunities, said Great Learning.
Superset, which has automated placements for more than 500 colleges and universities, will continue to be led by its founders Naman Agrawal and Pranjal Goswami.
Lido reportedly shuts down, lays off more than 150 employees
The Ronnie Screwvala-backed edtech firm has reportedly stopped its operations due to funding issues and has been unable to pay wages for January and February, Entrackr reported.
