Indonesian farming lender bags $9m in Monkโs Hill-led round
Crowde, an Indonesia-based fintech firm that focuses on agriculture sector, raised almost US$9 million in its latest round, according to data from VentureCap Insights.

- Other investors: PT Great Giant Pineapple, a subsidiary of Indonesian conglomerate Gunung Sewu Group

- VentureCap Insights pegs Crowdeโs valuation at around US$32 million. Tech in Asia has reached out to Crowde for comments.
- In 2019, the company raised US$1 million in a pre-series A funding round led by Mandiri Capital Indonesia.
- Crowde stated on its website that it logged a revenue of 6.2 billion rupiah (around US$438,000) and turned a profit of 2.6 billion rupiah (around US$183,000) in 2020.
- Since it started, the fintech firm has disbursed loans to around 34,000 borrowers.
