Hi readers,
GoTo Group is set to become the first local private company to go public in Indonesia this year. Formed from the union of super app Gojek and ecommerce titan Tokopedia, GoTo will be offering 46.7 billion in shares and hoping to set a better benchmark for other Indonesian tech companies to list.
While the group, which operates a host of services, doesn’t need much effort to publicize its stock launch (in fact, a report says GoTo was oversubscribed by 17x during book building), investors still need to do some research to tighten the hook and calculate the long run.
Exploring information outside the firm’s self-written IPO prospectus is a necessity to understand the health of the company and the overall industry. GoTo’s structure is also worth scrutinizing since it reflects institutional priorities and its decision-making process.
When you look at our GoTo org chart, you will see how the company puts an emphasis on certain services. You will also get to know its corporate governance and the key people shifting the gears.
