Google has released this year’s Singapore search trend results. It became obvious that most Singaporeans are Apple fans when both the iPad and iPhone are on the top ten rising search list. But Microsoft still managed to clinch top spot on the rising search list with xinmsn.
Xinmsn is an online entertainment portal through joint effort between MediaCorp and Microsoft that combines both companies’ services and media platforms for an integrated online offering in Singapore. Inception is Singapore’s most searched movie this year, placed third in ranking.
On raising people, Jack Neo is ranked second on the list, only falling behind Justin Bieber (the fight for top spot was really close). As many of you would have known, Jack Neo went on the list for the wrong reason. The World Cup also claimed a spot on the top rising search list, with a huge spike of queries observed between May and July.
