Goodbye poor internet: Philippine gaming goes to the next level with SMM Power Battle LAN connecting 2,900 computers

Do you want to connect to different gaming communities but still enjoy your LAN gaming scrims? SMM Philippines recently introduced Power Battle LAN, a wide area network that connects 2,900 PCs from 123 cyber cafes located around Quezon City, Marikina, Manila, Bulacan, and Laguna. This new system makes use of a one-time set up of the PH Battle LAN router, after which players can create or join lobby games like they would on a regular local area network.

SMM Power Battle LAN supports game titles such as Warcraft III (WC3) DotA, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Left 4 Dead 2, Dota 2, and all versions of Counter Strike, to name a few. A complete list of supported titles can be found here.
