The generative AI startups breaking barriers

Hi readers,

Either you’ve been talking about AI a lot in the last couple of months, or you’ve been doing the listening.

I used to fall into the latter camp, thanks to a friend on my football team who constantly talked about how AI would change our lives – I’m pretty sure he went on about it in his sleep.

But coming across graphics like this map of generative AI startups from VC firm Base10 has turned me into a talker recently. It’s fascinating that just by having a credit card and setting up a few different accounts on these platforms, people of any age and location could feasibly launch almost any kind of company.

The potential for this tech to break barriers is what has me excited. The next idea that truly changes the world could come from anywhere, with a little help from AI.
