Gaw Capital Partners, a Hong Kong-based real estate private equity firm, has formed a joint venture with Singapore-based investment company A3 Capital.
Both firms aim to invest in greenfield and underperforming data center assets in Southeast Asia, as well as to create a portfolio of Tier-3 certified data center assets.
The joint venture has also launched its first data center in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. It’s managed by Infinaxis, a Singapore-headquartered data center specialist.
The collaboration aims to launch similar projects in Indonesia and Singapore.
Moreover, Gaw Capital and A3 Capital will adopt ESG principles for its data centers. The two firms plan to gradually implement advanced sustainability features for the facilities.
