Garena wants you to live the World Cup in Thailand via FIFA Online 3

Garena is launching a FIFA Online 3 campaign in Thailand that will let players live out their World Cup 2014 dreams.

There is a soon-to-be-launched website where players will be able to insert their own faces into an interactive film, and join in the world’s largest football team photo. A timer on the site puts its launch tonight at midnight.

According to a press release, there will be more outdoor, social, and point-of-sales content for players in the coming months, and more content will be released as the World Cup progresses.

There were no details on whether actual in-game content will be affected by this campaign, and we’ve reached out for confirmation.

One thing’s for sure, though: this “I am the one” campaign is definitely targeted at Thai players, and you won’t see any of it outside of Thailand. It’s a pity, because Thai advertisements and campaigns usually have some pretty hilarious moments, one of which you can observe here:
