Sociolla glams up for IPO, eyes Singapore launch this year
Sociolla, a beauty and personal care platform based in Indonesia, is laying the groundwork for a public listing, “most likely” in the country.
As a company that’s over 10 years old, an IPO will help drive Sociolla’s next growth phase, co-founder and CEO Christopher Madiam tells Tech in Asia in an interview.
The firm has yet to set a timeline for its listing.

With “healthy” financial performance, Sociolla is one of the few tech companies in Indonesia that are relatively ready for an IPO at the moment, Madiam says.
Only a handful of Indonesian startups have gone public following the high-profile listings of Bukalapak and GoTo in 2021 and 2022, respectively. The IPO market has shown signs of revival over the past year, with companies like Fore Coffee and Superbank making their stock market debuts.
A listing could lift investor sentiment in the country at a time when a series of scandals and high-profile legal cases are hitting the tech sector.
Beyond its IPO preparations, Sociolla is getting ready to expand into Singapore later this year. The move will mark the firm’s second international expansion since entering Vietnam in 2020.
Ecosystem is the key
Last year, Sociolla recorded more than 30% year-on-year revenue growth and achieved EBITDA profitability, Madiam shares.
While the CEO declined to disclose specific financial figures, he notes that year to date, the company’s 2026 revenue and profitability growth has exceeded its 2025 pace. It expects to remain profitable throughout 2026.
Latest available regulatory filings for Social Bella International Pte Ltd, Sociolla’s registered entity in Singapore, indicate that for 2024, the company posted US$30.9 million in revenue and a pre-tax loss of US$908,000.
“Our profitability is a business model story, not a cost-cutting story,” Madiam says.
He attributes Sociolla’s growth to its “ecosystem play,” not to competing purely on price.
