Through the partnership, GrabPay will have access to GHL’s 70,000 merchant payment touchpoints in the country. GHL will also add the digital wallet’s payment channel to its existing credit and debit card offerings as well as cross-border and local e-wallets.

Grab launched its digital wallet services in Malaysia in May 2018 through a partnership with Maybank. It’s GrabPay’s first expansion out of Singapore.

GrabPay is also available in Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
