Funding round-up from India : Ameyo, Satvacart, Prithu

Over US$5 billion of venture capital funding flowed into Indian startups last year. This year, the deals are coming thicker and faster. So we thought it would be useful to start a daily digest of startup funding in India.
Hereβs todayβs funding round-up:
Ameyo
Gurgaon-based Ameyo, a contact center technology provider has raised US$5 million in series A funding from Bangalore-based private equity firm Forum Synergies. After establishing itself in Asia, Middle East, and Africa, Ameyo plans to use this capital to expand into the US market. It was founded in 2003 by IIT Guwahati alumni Sachin Bhatia, Bishal Kumar, and Nayan Jain.
Satvacart
Gurgaon-based grocery delivery startup Satvacart has raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from Palaash Ventures as well as a group of other angel investors. The funds will be used for scaling operations, customer acquisition, and strengthening its technology team. Satvacart was founded by Rahul Hari in 2014.
Prithu
Puneet Dalmia, the managing director of Dalmia Bharat Group has privately invested US$8 million in realty startup Prithu. With this investment, he will own 74 percent stake in the startup. The remaining 26 percent will be held by Prithuβs managing director Nitin Bansal.
