Vietnamese BNPL startup banks $1.8m from ex-Affirm employees, others
Vietnamese buy now, pay later (BNPL) startup Fundiin announced it has raised US$1.8 million in its latest funding round.

- Other investors: Genesia Ventures, Jafco Asia, Trihill Capital, angel investor Pham Le Nhat Quang, and Xffirmers (a syndicate of former employees from US-based BNPL company Affirm)

- The company plans to use the fresh funds to expand operations and make new hires for its executive team, ahead of its upcoming series A round.
- Fundiin, which launched its BNPL service in mid-2020, works with more than 100 merchants, including large Vietnamese retailers like Lug, Vua Nem, Mat Viet, and Giant International.
