There’s a saying that goes, “Imitation is the best form of flattery”. Much like a man’s relentless advances on an uninterested lady, sometimes flattery can go overboard and just become plain annoying.

Today, Australia-based flight expert marketplace FlightFox crossed that line. A tool that they created – accessible from their website here – lists “The 17 Best Cities To Live Cheaply”.

Funny thing is, the structure and details seem similar to Nomad List – some might say too similar. Coincidence, or plagiarism? You be the judge:

Even the details seem all-too-familiar.

This was compounded by the fact that there were no credits nor attribution of any form made to Nomad List. When confronted on Twitter, FlightFox’s social media manager made a major PR boo-boo – replying with sarcasm instead of fessing up:
