In a serious and fast paced garden city, the renowned Singapore Changi Airport decided to do something out of the norm to promote its millionaire shopping campaign – spend and stand a chance to win a million dollars.
To push the word out, an unconventional method was used. A flash mob, and a massive one at that.
Over 400 wacky dancers of different age groups came together to dance in the airport transit area. It started with a “mad” woman screaming fanatically, and the scene eventually burst into music and dance. It ended off with all 400 dancers tossing shopping coupons, and walking away like nothing had happened.
The experience, for the lucky people who witnessed the flash mob performance, would be their topic of the day. Word got on, but it did not stop there. Everyone now gets to enjoy the flash mob through a web video, as seen below.
