Would you Set Facebook as your Homepage? [POLL]

facebook-homepageFacebook has been asking users whether they wish to set Facebook as their homepage. It’s a small action that could prove detrimental to search engines sites, especially Google. Even a mere 10 percent conversion rate is equivalent to more than 50 million people setting Facebook as their homepage.

When Facebook users log in, a message appears at the top of the page asking if they want to make the switch. But not every users are approached, at least not in Asia.

“We are asking some users if they would like to make Facebook their homepage,” Facebook spokesperson, Meredith Chin, told PCMag. “This is simply a suggestion for people who want to make it easier and faster to get to Facebook.”
