Former Grab, Stripe execs’ fintech firm bags $1.7m from Surge, others
Tazapay, a digital payments platform that was founded by former Grab exec Arul Kumaravel, Stripe APAC head Rahul Shinghal, and Standard Chartered exec Saroj Mishra, said it has raised an additional investment of US$1.75 million.

- Tazapay will use the new capital to ramp up customer acquisition and scale its technology and growth teams.
- The latest investment comes on top of its US$3.2 million seed round that was announced early this year.
- Tazapay recently named ex-Nium exec Sri Lakshmi Kalapu as its new head of product. The company also has an unnamed new head of growth who is formerly with Stripe.
- The Singapore-based firm also announced that it is now fully operational across India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.
