TerraLabs co-founder seeks to withdraw from testifying in parliamentary audit

Daniel Shin, co-founder of Terraform Labs, is seeking to withdraw from testifying in a parliamentary audit into the Terra collapse, which resulted in global losses of over US$40 billion, Forkast reported.

In his written statement to South Korea’s National Assembly, Shin reasoned that his appearance at the proceeding may disrupt the ongoing probe into the Terra crash led by local prosecutors.

If the lawmakers excuse Shin from taking the stand, DSRV Labs CEO Ji-yoon Kim would be left as the sole witness.

DSRV Labs is a blockchain infrastructure provider that participated as a validator in the Terra blockchain.

In September, a South Korean court issued arrest warrants for six individuals including Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon.

Terraform Labs has responded to the issue, saying the accusations against Kwon have no reasonable basis.
