US-based startup Evernote has cracked a major milestone in Taiwan, where it now has just over one million registered users. The Evernote Taipei office, its fifth in Asia, expects the number to reach two million within a year from now.
Earlier this year, Evernote’s Tiang Lim Foo, head of Asia-Pacific market development, told us that the note syncing app has over two million users across Southeast Asia, with Thailand growing strongly. That could well double within a year, we reckon.
Evernote will push its enterprise-oriented Evernote Business services more strongly in Taiwan in future. It’s not clear how many in Taiwan are regular consumers paying for some premium features.
Evernote’s Taiwan office (pictured above) has three full-time employees, and is one of ten worldwide.
